Carp Island Resort
 

     Carp Island Resort is the only Rock Island Resort nested in one of the 200 Rock Islands in Palau. It is one of the many limestone Islands within the 325- mile long Palau Archipelago and one of the only privately owned Islands. The Island is shaped like a large starfish from the air surrounded by Emerald Ocean and white beaches. 
    You can get to the Island Resort by way of the Carp Island Resort staff and boat only. Planning to visit the Island on your owned boat is highly discouraged. The Island is roughly about 55 minutes from Koror (Malakal Harbor) and 20 Minutes from Peleliu. Boat ride will take you through a maze of beautiful Rock Island formations and lagoons. You can catch the Carp Resort Diving boat to the Island everyday at 8:00 in the morning and leaving Carp Island Resort at 3:00 in the afternoon. The Staff make one trip to the Island Resort every day. It is recommended you call ahead to make sure there is enough space for you and your guest.
    This Rock Island Resort is an ideal place with hideaway cottages, Seaside’s cottages, Sunrise cottages and a Dive house built on Palauan traditional design for divers and eco-conscious customers. All Cottages has its own unique back views but all have seaside view. Cottages are not equipped with air conditioning. However, they are equipped with ceiling fans, a floor fans and a never ending fresh sea breeze. 110 Volt outlets is available for charging camera’s and
other electronic device.
    Once you get to the Island Resort, you can put away your watches, cell phone and computers…etc and get totally disconnect from the outside world. This Island Resort has more to offer then what meets eyes. There are long guided tours through the Island jungle or take a map to guide you through your own tour (DIY). Huge banyan trees, giant taro, insect eating bat caves and authentic Yapese stone money can be seen during the jungle tour. Other activities also include Coconut Bowling, kayaking, snorkeling, leisure fishing, Rock Island tours, and scuba diving.
    Carp Island features one of the best diving programs available in Palau today. Dive Masters are fluent in many different languages and have recorded over thousands of hours in the water and hundreds of dives. You’re only 10 minutes away from Palau’s famous dive sites, the Blue Corner, Blue Holes, and beautiful Drop-offs and seconds away from the emerald lagoon for snorkeling. Make your own daily itinerary and provide a copy to the staff for support.
    Meals are provided at the Island Resort or prepare our own meal. If you decide to prepare your own meals, let the staff know when you’re booking to stay on the Island. The Resort dining room provides breakfast, lunch and dinner. They will also provide (Bento) bag lunch if you’re going on a tour and won’t make breakfast or lunch. Meal at the Resort is quite expensive so make sure you add that to your budget. Breakfast meal is $10, Lunch is $15 and Dinner is $25 per person. The Resort offers assorted menus during its meal time. Japanese, French, Philippines, US, Mexican menus can be offered at the same time. You can choose what to eat or request for a certain menu.
